Community Hubs Directory

Every known Rocket Racing community space, organized by platform. Status notes reflect mid-2026, with the mode confirmed for full shutdown in October 2026 (Traxion.GG); most hubs below are now in wind down or archival mode. Nobody ever built RR a big standalone fansite or forum; the community consolidated into Discord + speedrun.com + Reddit.

Reddit

  • r/RocketRacing · Main community subreddit, linked as the mode’s official Reddit home from the developer run Discord. Subscriber count unverified (direct fetching blocked; subredditstats returned no usable data). Status: extant as of July 2026.
  • Overflow discussion also lives on r/FortNiteBR and r/RocketLeague (no dedicated RR specific data for either).

Discord

  • Official Rocket Racing Discord (discord.gg/rocketracing) · Developer run official server (ID 1178841108927750164), created Nov 27, 2023, announced Dec 5, 2023 by iFireMonkey alongside the LEGO Fortnite and Festival servers. LFG, UEFN track sharing, and dev feedback channels; links out to all official socials. ~3,140 members / 833 online per Discord Discovery (July 2026); Deepcord logged 3,147 members in July 2025 with a -0.54%/week decline (~17 members lost weekly). Active but shrinking. After the March 2026 layoffs the server lost its Epic staff presence: the final #announcements post is the March 17, 2026 track rotation, the final #rr-game-status post is March 21, the shutdown itself was never announced on the server (Section 2.5), and community members reported Devin laid off and Capybro moved to Save the World (community attested, Section 9.4).
  • Rocket Racing speedrun community Discord · Discord for the speedrun.com boards (main + Community Tracks). Active into July 2026 (speedrun.com).
  • RR Comp · Competitive server, self described as “where world record runs are made, ultra shortcuts are found, and elite champs and unreals hang out”; ~50 online per its Discodus listing (unverified).
  • Rocket Racing League · Community racing league server listed on DISBOARD (page fetch 403’d; found via search, unverified).
  • Directory/tag pages: Discodus RR tag (lists RR Comp and adjacent servers), Discadia search, and DiscordHome RR tag (the last currently empty, itself evidence of shrinking directory presence).

Speedrunning (the most active hardcore hub)

  • speedrun.com/Rocket_Racing · Core hardcore hub: 484 followers, 4,003 submitted runs, 449 players, 60 levels (normal + glitched), four super mods (AceDelusional, DarthZed, Havvak, skiizuo). Still active July 2026. Board notes reference a bhop related change that reset the meta and opened “a new leaderboard to fill”; the source attributes it to “v44.00”, an impossible version (Fortnite is on v41.x as of mid-2026), and the specific bhop removal claim (version/date) was refuted in this archive’s fact check, so treat it as unconfirmed (see Section 22).
  • Rocket Racing: Community Tracks · Sister board for 65 creator made UEFN levels (Community S0/S1/S2 + Psyonix map categories); 157 runs, 24 followers, 42 players, dominant runner B1gstretch.
  • Rocket Racing Category Extensions · Meme/extra categories board.
  • Sub pages worth archiving: stats, forums (shortcut discoveries, speed nerf threads), the community written Comprehensive Guide, and the Season 1 leaderboard news post.
  • SRC Series: Rocket Racing Speedrun Challenge · Official speedrun.com-organized challenge event (2024).

Non English communities

Every regional scene below pivoted to the same story on March 24, 2026, the day the shutdown announcement landed.

Japan (deepest non English ecosystem):

Brazil:

France:

  • Top creator: ARCHIS (YouTube) · full FR catalogue: Season 0 guide, “Comment Monter Rang UNREAL,” “10 Astuces pour être un Pro,” time trial quest guides.
  • Lemoon-YT’s UEFN tutorial · French RR course creation tutorial on Epic’s dev community (Apr 2024).
  • Fortnite FR Officiel Discord · Main FR hub; RR channels lived here.
  • News: ActuGaming (Mar 24, 2026; noted Epic had promised the modes were permanent, tied closure to 1,000+ layoffs), Creo Gaming (cosmetics/V-Bucks survive the shutdown).

Spanish / LATAM:

Post shutdown migration

The data does not document a formal migration destination, but the trajectory is legible: Epic is moving RR’s car physics and track tools into base Fortnite/UEFN (Traxion.GG; FNJPNews confirms racing physics/course tools move into UEFN and customized cars stay usable in other modes), so creator made racing islands under Fortnite Creative are the practical successor venue. The speedrunning community remains the last organzied activity (a fresh leaderboard cycle followed a 2026 physics change; see the v44.00 caveat under Speedrunning above), and TikTok’s “Rocket Racing Getting Deleted” hub is where the goodbye videos are piling up. Note the JP leaker detail that RR’s UEFN templates are also being deleted in October 2026 (@Ryuichi187, unverified), meaning even the UEFN successor path excludes original RR track templates.
